Terms of Service
Last updated: October 2026
Accepting these terms
These terms are the deal between you and Craftwire. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
Craftwire is marketing software for general contractors: building and hosting websites, local search optimization, review tools, lead capture, and reporting. We provide the software; you decide what gets published.
Your account
You need an account to use Craftwire. You must be able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials safe and for what happens under your account.
Subscriptions & billing
Craftwire is month-to-month. We bill monthly in advance through our payment provider, Stripe. No long-term contracts, no cancellation fees.
If prices change, we will give you notice before your next billing cycle, and you can cancel instead of accepting the change.
Cancellation & ownership
Cancel anytime — it takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for.
Here is the part that matters: your site content, your domain (once it is transferred to you), your leads, and your review data are yours. When you cancel, you can export all of it and take it with you — the site included. We do not hold anything hostage.
Acceptable use
Do not use Craftwire to break the law, publish content you do not have the rights to, send spam, mislead consumers, or attack the service or its other customers. Do not try to reverse-engineer the platform or resell access to it.
Your content
You keep every right to the content you give us — text, photos, business information, leads. You give us a limited license to host, display, and process that content solely to provide the service. That license ends when your content has been removed after you stop using the service.
Intellectual property
You own your content. We own the Craftwire platform — the software, design, and brand. Nothing in these terms transfers either to the other party.
Third-party services
Craftwire connects to services like Google, and parts of the service run on providers like Stripe and DigitalOcean. Your use of those services is also subject to their terms.
Warranties
We work hard to keep Craftwire reliable, but the service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Craftwire's total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
Termination
You can cancel anytime — see Cancellation & ownership. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or create legal risk for us or other customers, with notice where practical.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will notify you before it takes effect. Continuing to use Craftwire after that means you accept the update.
